From 01.07.2024. till  25.08.2024.

Awarding

​

  1. 1st; 2nd; 3rd place are awarded.

  2. The awarding takes place at the LJGT final stage, 09.07.2024, in Viesturi.

​

Course

​

  1. For the rounds and decisive battles for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place - Ozo Golf Club;

  2. Green fee – free of charge;

  3. Tee boxes - in accordance with the 2024 regulations of the LJGT ( see. LJGT Regulation).​

 

Participants

​

LJGT U14 and U18+ players of the 2024 season

​

  1. In the 2024 season on 01.07. played at least 1 LJGT stage

  2. Maximum number of participants 16;

  3. Participation is confirmed in order of application.

​

Regulations

​

  1. The competition takes place in accordance with the rules of golf approved by the Royal and Ancient St. Andrews Golf Club (Match play) and the local rules of the golf courses;

  2. Caddies are not allowed in Match Play games.

​

Competition format

​

  1. Match play, stroke play, taking into account the player's handicap (HCP). Max game HCP 18, to which the slope index of the field selected for the game is applied;

  2. The game starts from the 1st hole. If the result is tied after 18 holes played, the players continue according to the principle - each subsequent hole as a deciding (suddendeath) until the winner is determined;

  3. Playoff - starting from the 1st hole and continuing consecutively;

  4. Players independently agree on the match-play time of their round and make a tee time reservation. If the players cannot agree on the field or the day for play, play is determined at the Ozo Golf Club course on the last day of the respective round, at 12:00 (if busy, then the next available time);

  5. Match Play  games may not be combined with LJGT regular stage play or played as part of any other tournament

Procedure of the competition

1.st. stage  01.07. – 14.07.

2.nd. stage  15.07. – 28.07.

3.rd. stage  29.07. – 11.08.

4.th. stage (draw for 3rd & 4th and 1st & 2nd place) – 12.08. – 25.08.

Participation fees

​

Participation in the tournament is  Free of charge

​​

Responsibilities of participants

​

Inform about the time and field no later than the day before the game, Emīls Auziņš (tel. no. 22061022)

​

Entering results

​

  1. Games are recorded in the GameBook application or in the scorecard;

  2. The results are sent in photo format to Emīls Auziņš (tel. no. 22061022) until the end of the game day.

​

Entry

​

Entry closes on June 28, 2024 at 18:00.

Registration for participation in the tournament in the Golfbox system.

​

Draw

​

Match play  bracket will be compiled on 30.06.2024. in principle, the highest HCP plays against the lowest HCP, the 2nd highest HCP plays against the 2nd lowest HCP, etc

​

If the number of participants in the tournament will be less than 16, then the players with the lowest HCP automatically win the first round.

​
